Hoping to try to finish a clean lap at Nürb this afternoon some time. I was running around in the Viper ACR, but I'll dust off an RGT for the first time.

f1

Post  GTP_Viginti3tres on Mon May 21, 2012 10:56 pm

regarding the f1 half of this event I have an issue using the driving force wheel. I need to adjust the steering so that around the tightest corners my arms aren't getting crossed up and i'm not pullin a 'wax-on, wax-off' with the wheel. I honestly can lower my time by a few seconds if I can clear this up. I'm finding I can't unwind the wheel on an exit quick enough to get on the gas at the apropriate time, plus removing my fingers from the shifter buttons presents a problem because 1rst tops out before i can find them again. I've tried adjusting the sensitivity in the driving options and looked for a setting in the hardware options. Is it even possible to make this adjutment?

I know this doesnt apply to the nurb24 theme of this thread but I can't find a more appropriate placet o ak this question. TIA for any input.

Steering ratio is unadjustable in game settings. For that hairpin, grab the six o'clock part of the wheel with your right hand before you turn in, should keep your arms off each other. Make first gear longer so you don't have to upshift out of it so quickly.

In the RGT, but was not showing full power for unknown reason. Wouldn't let me oil change or engine rebuild post-run, checked parts, checked limiter, now it shows full power.

Tune was crap anyway.
