That'll be why PSN (wait ... wat is it now ... Sony Entertainment Network) was down earlier today. Anyone screwed by the update should still join the chat if they want to race, we'll be in the driversports lounge.

Race 1 result
Rooster, Juan, me, wall, no_aff, Agent
I started second, first half of lap 1 was fine, then outbraked myself into turn 6. Agent got into the back of me after I was doomed and waited up, I managed to get back up to 3rd.
Race 2 result
39'03.465 Rooster
+20.841 me
+25.552 Agent
+1'03.786 Juan
+1.09.498 no_aff
+1'30.174 wall
Starting third, I battled with Juan for a bit as Rooster wandered off somewhat. Once in clear 2nd, I sort of caught Rooster a bit but not much. Then my brain overheated slightly and I faded to 3rd behind Agent. Ended up second. Battle for 4-6 looked like one triangle on the map for quite a while.

Re: Eunos Roadster '91 | No Tuning | Friday July 27 | Motegi East
Great night of racing as usual. Maybe clacksman was doomed on turn 6/lap 1, or a better description ... just abit out of shape entering the corner. I didnt help things by tapping him into a 180 degree view of the turn. My apologies on braking too late on cold tires.
I kind of liked the 6-lap, 21-lap format. The 6 laps allowed us to get our feet under ourselves, and the 21-lap had some great action because of it. Positions 4-5-6 had a battle the whole time. I held on mid-race of tt'ing by myself (was just thinking that i'd like to get involved with the battle of wall-affil-juan!), and all the sudden i had gained alot of time on clacks (trouble thru the esses of 3-4-5 I think?) On the same lap alittle further down on turn 9, clacks had trouble again. It allowed me to get by and stretch to 3-4seconds. Took him abit, but of course he caught back up to me. We had a good run together for quite a few laps. ... i was proud of myself for pressuring him by being large in his mirror, yet not making any kind of contact. I'd used up my 'taps with clacks' in the first race. lol! Towards laps 18-19, he stretched it out and I lost his draft. I blame that on being terrible thru the first turn and the last turn. Cant seem to stay fast thru those 2, and he got away ...
great racing guys .... and great driving!

Definitely great driving last night. 3 hot lap / 6 lap pre-race / 21 lapper worked very well, and close competition meant no mid-race drowse. Was painful seeing Wallhugger hit gravel so close to the end. Been there.
