Okay, pedals appear REALLY fixed now, after a disassembly and modification to the brake potentiometer stop. Wouldn't have thought there was enough space in there for that much hair/dust/junk.

Well, yes, but the pic is from a hellaflush show, so what else would you expect?

The Cube is one of the near-casualties of the Yen/Dollar exchange rate - nobody is making money selling cars made in Japan elsewhere, so they've cut the advertising push and slowed the stocking of them at dealers to a trickle.

I have heard that exact phrase ... on a NASCAR broadcast ... about 20 years ago.

No, in NASCAR turning right is what they do when they have oversteer.
